Open sessions: Structuring Solidarity, March 14/18, 2022

We are a global community, and it is crucial that we come together to make sense of the ongoing war in Ukraine and its impact on the members of our community.

In our public EC meeting the previous week, we discussed this war and attempted to brainstorm how we might best support our community members who continue to be impacted by it. We are thankful to many SIGCHI members who were present at this meeting and participated, highlighting possibilities for us to reach out and support our community, calling for greater attention to how the war and conflict impact us.

We hope to better serve this articulated need for support and solidarity now and in future, confident in the belief that SIGCHI will be the stronger for it.
