EC Working, February 23, 2023

A wide range of topics were covered in the February 2023 SIGCHI EC working meeting.

• The President greeted the new Executive Committee members who had just been onboarded.

• The Vice President of Finance went over the budget for Fiscal Year 2024.

• The Vice President at Large discussed the ACM Distinguished Speakers Program with other EC members, asking for suggestions to develop a pipeline for our SIG.

• The Executive Vice President discussed our no-alcohol policy for EC-sponsored events, asking if the EC was interested in continuing this or reconsidering it in light of the Awards Banquet coming up. There was a vote to keep the policy.
