May 2 - May 4
Eid is the equivalent of Christmas in Muslim communities. It is a time of festive celebration, and food feasts following the holy month of Ramadan. Muslims observe it by offering Eid-prayers and visiting family, giving presents to children and charity for those in need. It is a holiday time full of joy even for some non-Muslims who are immersed in this culture in 56 Muslim-majority countries worldwide.
