%Description The Department of Computing at UWE Bristol
undertakes research in the areas of real-time systems, community
information systems, philosophical and social aspects of
information systems, personal information management and HCI. The
Department has strong links with local and national industry and
runs many joint research programmes.
%Facilities The Department has several well-equipped laboratories
of Apple Macs., PCs and Sparcstations which are available for
undergraduate and research student use.
