Audience
Anyone who is involved in Web site design, or who expects to become involved.
You should have some basic familiarity with using the Web, but you do not need
to be an HTML author. This tutorial is about design, not about implementation.
Presentation
Lecture, hands-on exploration of outstanding Web sites using computers connected
to the Internet, and design exercises that reinforce 10 design principles.
Instructors
Hagan Heller (Netscape Communications Corp.) and David Rivers (Apple Computer
Inc.) are user interface designers who spend a lot of time designing Web spaces.
Hagan is the designer of Netscape Navigator. David designs eWorld Web spaces.
Hagan and David previously worked at Sun Microsystems, where they collaborated
on the design of ShowMe (a desktop video conferencing suite) and ShowMe TV
(network broadcast audio/video).
